Kate Moss: ‘The Beautiful and the Damned’

October 28th, 2008

The falseness of exterior beauty and it’s prevailing grasp on modern culture in the form of monetary wealth and celebrity, particularly for young women, is exposed with one of it’s most prolific purveyors.

A view of my diagrammatic paintings

Studies of statistical data.  In the background, ‘Auschwitz’ and in the foreground ‘Tsunami’. Both represent surface pattern whilst a depth of statistical data including geographical and demographic information underpins these large paintings.

The ‘Solo’ exhibition in support of the Solo Antarctica expedition

October 28th, 2008

Here’s the (expensive but well printed) flyers for the ‘Solo’ exhibition whose main aim was to support the Solo Antarctica expedition - an unsupported attempt for one man to go to the South Pole and back unassisted.  The expedition starts on November 2nd 2008 and will last a staggering 1400 miles and 82 days!  The exhibition was from the 18th October through to the 26th October 2008.

Adam’s paintings in the new gallery space

September 18th, 2008

Finally the paintings can be viewed in the new gallery space.  And they looked excellent too! The paintings themselves are large pieces, some almost eight feet tall.  The public were duly impressed by the amount of work and detail in each painting which is a hallmark of Adam’s work.

And finally!

September 16th, 2008

After a lot of effort, cash and stress, the new gallery opens on time. Besides a few tweaks for the October exhibition there shouldn’t be too much to do or buy.
